About End of Summer...

Thinking of...what to do with my Birthday BBQ if it rains this Saturday =S

So Summer is coming to an end. Kids going back to school, Labour Day weekend signaling massive traffic and congestion at ferry terminals, airports, bus terminals/stations. End of Summer now that school is over means little to me, except one major important event...MY BIRTHDAY =D

Yep, I'm turning another year older. Was planning a BBQ this year, but it might rain on the weekend I'm holding it. Hopefully there won't be rain on my birthday..there's rarely rain on my birthday =p James and I are going to Todai for my birthday =) YAY! Free birthday meal for me...here comes the all-you-can-eat lobster and dungenous crab and jumbo shrimps! YUMMY!

Anyways things that I've done as of the last blog:
1) Ultimate: We're the Thursday night Division 6 champions! Undefeated in our final trisemester AND in playoffs! Go Fingers!
2) Sex in Vancouver has come to an end. I helped 5 out of 10 nights, and was Asst Stage Manager for 2 of the 5 nights. =D It was a good learning experience! Plus I got paid! (not much, but still...)
3) I coordinated my first conference this past month with my boss. It was amazingly fun and I learned a lot, despite some errors, but I felt that my performance was really good for my first time. Plus everybody at the conference really enjoyed things, and even though I worked 14 hour days at times, it was worth it =)
4) Enrolled in a Conversational Business Mandarin class (starts Sept 19) at UBC Robson Square Continuing Ed. Should be interesting...
